WHAT?

The Intramurals Men's Volleyball Tryouts took place at Ravello Ballfield, serving as the platform for boys to showcase their skills and determine their eligibility to represent CCS during the upcoming Intramurals in February 2024. While the primary purpose was to assess athletic abilities, the event also provided an opportunity for camaraderie and team building.

SO WHAT?

While I didn't muster the confidence to actively participate in the tryouts, I found enjoyment in a different role – that of a photographer. Watching my friends engage in the spirited volleyball tryouts revealed the fun and camaraderie inherent in sports. The experience served as a personal revelation, prompting a realization that sports can be an enjoyable and inclusive activity. The event, while initially intimidating, became a source of inspiration to overcome hesitation and actively participate in future athletic endeavors.

NOW WHAT?

The Intramurals Men's Volleyball Tryouts have inspired a shift in perspective, encouraging a more active and participatory approach to sports. The newfound appreciation for the fun and camaraderie in athletics serves as motivation to overcome personal reservations. Moving forward, I am determined to step out of my comfort zone, shed unnecessary fears, and actively engage in sports and other communal activities.

Because of the Intramurals Men's Volleyball Tryouts, I am inspired to embrace a more active and participatory role in sports. The event has served as a catalyst for overcoming personal reservations and recognizing the joy and camaraderie inherent in athletic endeavors. Moving forward, I am committed to shedding unnecessary fears and actively engaging in sports, fostering a healthier and more inclusive approach to physical activities within the CCS community.
