The SU Church Midweek Prayer Service, a mandatory event for NSTP-LTS students, unfolded as a typical church gathering within Silliman University. As a non-religious individual, the event held a mandatory nature for me, though it represented a routine church service experience. While the religious aspects didn't resonate personally, I found solace in the peaceful ambiance it provided—a rare and appreciated moment of tranquility amid life's chaos.
Attending the Midweek Prayer Service served as a mandatory commitment, and as a non-religious person, the religious elements didn't hold personal significance. However, the peaceful atmosphere of the service stood out and was appreciated. The event, while not aligning with personal beliefs, became a brief respite from the usual chaos, offering a moment of quiet reflection and tranquility.
The experience at the Midweek Prayer Service has sparked an appreciation for moments of peace and reflection, irrespective of personal beliefs. Moving forward, I aim to find and cherish such peaceful interludes amid the hectic pace of life, recognizing the importance of moments that allow for quiet contemplation and a break from the surrounding chaos.
Because of the SU Church Midweek Prayer Service, I am reminded of the value of moments of peace and reflection. While the religious aspects may not align with my beliefs, the experience has instilled an appreciation for the tranquility it provided. Moving forward, I am inspired to actively seek moments of calm amidst life's chaos, recognizing the importance of occasional pauses for quiet contemplation and personal reflection.
